Kougars fine sesaon ends in Regional Quarterfinals

February 29, 2024 - The Kishwaukee College Mens Basketball team saw it's season come to an end losing to the Morton College Panthers 64-59 in Cicero.  Kish had various leads during the contest but couldn't hold off a dertermined Morton team in the end.  Joshua Bocher led Kish with 18 points followed by Donavyn Sayles with 16.  Jalen Smith added 9 points and teammates Braxton Highbaugh and Amonn Burns 8 and 5 points apiece. It was a season that saw the Kougars have their best record since eight years.  Kish took second place in the Arrowhead Conference, as they also went on an eight game winning streak, had two student-athletes eclipse the 1000 point career scoring mark and won 9 of their last ten.  "It was a foundation buliding season for the program," said Head Coach Joe Conroy.  "We have set a lot of goals since the staff started three years ago and we accomploshed a great deal this past season!  Its not exactly how we wanted to finish, but the heart this team showed throughout the year is somehthing to definitely build upon for years to come for the program's success!"  Kishwaukee College Athletics congratulates all the student-athletes and coaching staff on a fine year and are excited to see our sophomores Joshua Bocher, Jalen Smith, Donavyn Sayles, Amonn Burns, Cooper Hasz, Brock Zimmerman and Hanief Hannah as they continue their academics and athletic goals!
