Kishwaukee stays with Sauk through first half but drop conference game

January 21, 2020 – The Kishwaukee Men's Basketball team played inspired throughout the first 20 minutes of Tuesdays contest at Malta against Sauk Valley Community College as they went at halftime into the locker room down 34-27.  However, a cold shooting second half wound up in the favor of the Skyhawks and a 68-48 final.  The Kougars were led in scoring by Daelyn Franklin with 13 points and 7 rebounds.  Connor Todd had a double-double performance with 12 points and 19 rebounds while Jordan Garcia (8 points, 8 rebounds) and CJ Ciesielczyk (7 points, 5 rebounds) pitched in offensively.  Kenny Adams also contributed 4 points and 5 rebounds.

Kishwaukee (5-15 overall, 0-4 Arrowhead Conference) will host Highland (IL) Community College this Thursday, January 23 with tip-off at 7:30 pm for the Arrowhead conference match-up.  Kish will then travel to Olivet Nazarene on Monday, January 27 at 7:30 pm.
