Kougars split first two conference games as Arrowhead part of schedule arrives

January 15, 2019 - The Kishwaukee College Mens Basketball team began their Arrowhead Conference portion of the season schedule last week with a big win over Carl Sandburg College at home Thursday 73-70.  The Kougars trailed by one at halftime but continued solid defense and a well balanced offensive attack pulled out the win at the final horn.  Robert Johnson led in scoring with 21 points and added 12 rebounds.  Luke Davis pitched in 15 points and joined Johnson with his own double double with 14 rebounds.  Caleb Gould (14 points and 5 steals), Emonte Collins (12 points) and Marshawn Phillips (11 points and 14 assists) helped get all the starters into double digit scoring.  On Tuesday, January 15 Kish travelled to Oglesby to take on Illinois Valley only to lose a close one 84-83 in Oglesby.

Kishwaukee (11-7 overall, 1-1 conference) will next host Black Hawk College this Thursday with tip-off at 7:30 pm approximately.
