Kishwaukee finally broke out of its slump with a 90-71 win over Region IV foe College of Dupage. The Kougars would take advantage of a strong shooting night. Kishwaukee shot 65.4% from the floor, 46.2% from the 3pt line, and 57.1% from the FT line. With the hot shooting the Kougars control the game after the first few minutes leading 46-36 at Half time and a 90-71 final. Kishwaukee placed five players in double figures lead by Sophomore forward Luke Davis (Dekalb HS) with 17 points, 11 Rebounds 7 blocks, and 3 assist. Also scoring in double figures were sophomore Guard Caleb Gould (Rochelle HS) with 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists; followed by 16 points from sophomore Forward Robert Johnson (Romeville HS) who also had 5 rebounds. Concluding the double figure scoring was Freshman Guard Kionne Layne (Marquette HS) with 13 points and Freshman Forward Martinez Lenyoun (Oak Park River Forest HS) with a career high 18 points and 7 Rebounds. With the win the Kougars move to (7-4) on the season. Kishwaukee is back in action Thursday night as they welcome the Loras JV to Malta for a 7:00 pm game.
