Kishwaukee finishes the week (2-0) with a 79-69 win Vs Lake County and extends its winning streak to 3-games.

The Kishwaukee men's basketball team won their 3rd straight game last night with a 79-69 win over the visiting Lake County Lancers.  The Kougar's would take a big lead in the first 10 minutes at 23-7.  Lake County started warming up from the 3pt line after a time out and was able to close the gap at the end of the half to a 9 point deficit at (39-30).  The Kougars and the Lancers would go back and forth during the second half with Kishwaukee never able to extend their lead more than 12 points until late in the half.  Kishwaukee would be able to make a run and push their lead to 15 points late in the half and ice the game away.  On the night  Kishwaukee would be led by sophomore forward Luke Davis (Dekalb HS) with 23 points, 14 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steals.  Three other Kougars reached double figure scoring with Sophomore forward Robert Johnson (Romoville HS) scoring 15 points, with 14 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals; Sophomore guard Caleb Gould (Rochelle HS) added 14 points and 2 rebounds; and freshman guard Kionne Layne (Hammond-Morton HS) tallying 12 points, 3 rebounds,.  Kishwaukee would also get 6 points, and 7 assist from Freshman guard Marshawn Phillips (Willowbrook HS).  Kishwaukee is back on the road this Tuesday vs Region IV opponent McHenry County College.  Tip-off is at 7:30 pm at McHenry  in Crystal Lake, IL.
