October 27, 2018 - The Kishwaukee Men's Basketball team and Head Coach Jay Moore, have announced their 2018-2019 season schedule. The season will open up on the road, Saturday, November 3 against Harper College at 3:00 pm before returning to Malta for their home opener on Tuesday, November 6 at approximately 7:30 pm against Rock Valley College. November 6th will also be the Kishwaukee College Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony which will take place between the womens and mens games approximately at 7:00 pm. Other home dates this season include traditional conference rivalry games against Carl Sandburg (January 10), Black Hawk College (January 17), Sauk Valley (January 24), Illinois Valley (February 7) and Highland (February 14). Non conference Region IV home games include November 17 against College of Lake County, Elgin (November 27), DuPage (December 4), Wright (December 8), Bryant and Stratton (January 29) and the regular season will wrap up at home on February 23 versus Truman.
Coach Moore and Assistant Coaches Josh Binder and Keith Parris welcome back six returning players that include Luke Davis (DeKalb HS), Treyson Johnson (Chicago Perspectives), Michael Briggs (Michigan City HS), Anathi Davis-Peal (Chicago Perspectives HS), Keyshawn Stallworth (Sycamore HS) and Caleb Gould (Rochelle HS). The incoming new recruits are Kionne Layne (Hammond-Morton HS), Marshawn Phillips (Willowbrook HS), Martinez Lenyoun (Oak Park River Forest HS), Tyrone VanOsten (Tinley Park HS), Emonte Collins (Hammond Morton HS), Robert Johnson (Romeoville HS) and Trevian Cook (Sycamore HS). Each will add depth and important roles to the team.
