Sophomore starting point guard Rudy Lopez has been voted to both the 2nd Team All-Arrowhead Conference Team as well as the 2nd Team All-Region IV Team for the 2017-18 season. Lopez led the Arrowhead Conference in scoring with 19.9ppg while also collecting 3.7 rpg and dishing out 6.2 apg in league play. Lopez was a consistent scorer in Arrowhead action scoring in double-figures in every conference game as well as 20 points or more in 8 out of 10 contests. Lopez's finished the 2017-18 season with averages of 17.3ppg, 3.3rpg, 5apg, and 1.8spg. The Kishwaukee point guard leaves with (711) total points, (154) total rebounds, and (214) total assists in Rudy's 2-year career.
Lopez becomes the 27th player under Coach Buss to receive All-Arrowhead Conference recognition and the 24th player to earn All-Region IV distinction.
