Kishwaukee’s wins big at home as they blow-out Loras College 112-62.

Kishwaukee won big over Loras College JV Thursday night 112-62.  The win was a complete team effort as nine of ten players scored & nine of ten players grabbed at least 1 rebound and all ten played double figure minutes in the victory.  The Kougars playing the second of three games this week were pushed early by Loras' outside shooting.  The Duhawks would make 50% of their 3pt shots in the 1st half(8-16) to be within striking distance of the Kougars.  Kishwaukee would push the tempo and attack the basket to open up a lead mid-way through the 1st half.  While Loras did a good job shooting from the outside Kishwaukee would have its best 3pt shooting game of the young season shooting over 50% from deep in both halves and finish (11-19) on the night.  The Kougars had a balanced attack lead by sophomore point guard Rudy Lopez(Dekalb HS) with a game high 26 points, 4 rebounds, 14 assists, and 4 steals; followed by freshman forward Darvon Sisson(Dekalb HS) 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 blocks.  Freshman guard Landon Griffith(Rochelle HS) added 16 points and 3 steals along with freshman guard Caleb Gould(Rochelle HS) 13pts and 7 rebounds, and sophomore guard Dallas McClain(Decatur MacArthur HS) with 15 points and 4 assists.  The Kougars would have one of its best shooting nights finishing with 62% shooting from the floor and 58% from 3pt range.  Kishwaukee will return to the floor this Saturday at home with a 3pm game with Oakton College.
