Kishwaukee losses again 82-74 at Waubonsee

Kishwaukee continued its poor play and extends its season long losing streak to 3-games with an 82-74 loss at Waubonsee College.  The Kougars started the game with a poor defensive effort and equally poor execution which quickly put themselves in a hole.  Waubonsee took advantage of slow defensive rotations and poor communication from the Kougars and were able to get open 3pt shots all half long converting 6 of 9 attempts.  When the Chiefs weren't hitting open shots they were able to crash the boards for 2nd chance points with multiple offensive rebounds.  Kishwaukee went into the half-time with a 44-29 disadvantage.  The Kougars would try to put runs together during the second half but never were able to put multiple defensive stops together or finish enough offensive possessions with baskets as they shot a dismal 36.5% from the floor for the game.  Kishwaukee would have four players reach double-figures but so would the Chiefs.  The Kougars would get out rebounded and out offensive rebounded by the much more aggressive Waubonsee team.  The Kougars will finish their Fall semester schedule on the road at last year's NJCAA National Runner-Up and #6 nationally ranked Triton College with a 7pm contest Thursday December 22nd.
