Kish shuts out Prairie State

March 27, 2024 - The Kishwaukee College Baseball team travelled to Chicago Heights Wednesday afternoon for a single nine inning game against Prairie State College. Kevon Marshall started and went 4 innings with 2 strikeouts for the win and an eventual 11-0 shutout. Jacob Skinner and Alec Rosa pitched the additional frames for the Kougars.  Gabriel Lopez had three hits and 4 RBI for Kish while teammates Tommy Gargano (2 hits, RBI), Zach Cantu (2 runs), Sawyer Eccles (4 SB, 3 runs), Lenox Estremera (run, RBI) and Cyrus Mehmedi (2 hits, RBI) led the offense.  Ethan Byham and Will Baumgartner had 2 stolen bases each.

Kishwaukee moves to 5-6 in NJCAA Region 4 games and will return to action Thursday in another single nine inning game at McHenry County College before hosting Illinois Valley CC in a twin bill on Saturday in the Arrowhead Conference opener.
