Baumgartner pitched 4 innings giving up 1 earned run, walking 3 and striking out 2.  Sawyer Eccles (Byron HS) pitched a scoreless inning with a walk and a strikeout. Ian Solger (Huntley HS) pitched well in his first season apperance but took the loss in relief.

Kishwaukee (0-2 overall) will continue to prepare, with first year head coach Kish Joe Maskivish, for their next DH against I88 rival Waubonsee CC on March 4 in Sugar Grove.  "I felt getting outside was huge today! " said Coach Maskivish.  "We have been indoors for awhile and felt it was time to battle someone else. Overall, I was pleased with the effort, after getting over some first game jitters in game one, and a play here in there in the fifth I really thought we had control of game two.  I am excited to get back to work on the things we identified today and will be ready against another quality team in Waubonsee next week."
