August 3, 2022 – Kishwaukee College men's baseball sophomore student-athlete Darnell Coleman (St. Laurence High School) signed recently to continue his academic and athletic career at Brescia University (KY) for the upcoming fall 2022 semester. The Kougars shortstop/infielder batted .308 with an OBP of .445 and 10 stolen bases. He will be joining the Bearcats and Head Coach Jon Herbig who is in his fifth season in Owensboro.  Brescia finished 19-28-1 this past season.  Darnell was also a good student in the classroom and participated in Student Activities, Clubs and intramural activities while a student leader this past year.
