April 28, 2022 – The Kishwaukee College Baseball team travelled to Moline to battle Arrowhead Conference rival Black Hawk College Thursday.  Game one of the doubleheader was on course for a Kish victory leading 3-0 into the bottom of the seventh.  Black Hawk would plate four to steal the win 4-3 and take game two to sweep the day's games.  The Kougars were led by Jimmy Kalyviaris' three hits and an RBI in game one while teammates Tyler Jacobsen (2 hits, run scored, RBI), Blake Novinsky (hit, run scored) and Ryan Nelson (hit, RBI) aided the offense. Declan McGrath went six strong innings giving up one earned run while striking out two.  Isaiah Nunez, Darnell Coleman and Will Wojtasiak each had hits in game two.  Kishwaukee will look to get games in Friday versus Lake County in Malta.
