Kougars finish 4-2 in past week action with doubleheader sweep over Highland CC Saturday

April 28, 2018 - On Thursday, Kishwaukee travelled to Chicago to take on Olive Harvey and continued their winning ways (after two wins versus Sauk on Tuesday) with a 10-7 win in 11 innings.  Kish would jump out to a 4-0 lead after their half of the first inning and were ahead 6-2 after 3 full innings.  Olive Harvey would tally two runs in the sixth, two in the eighth and one in the ninth to force extra innings.  However, Kishwaukee would score three in the top of the eleventh to seal the win.

Triton College came into Malta on Friday as Kish fought valiantly in a comeback after spotting Triton an 8-0 lead but would eventually fall 11-9 and also lost 4-0 in the nightcap.

The Kougars bounced back on Saturday dropping Highland CC 3-2 and 5-0 to finish the week 4-2 in games played. 

Kishwaukee (30-19-1 overall and 12-6 conference) travels to Freeport to battle Highland at 2:00 pm first game Tuesday as they complete Arrowhead Conference play.  Lake County then comes in on Wednesday at 3:00 pm for a home and home with the Kougars going to Lake County on Friday. Kish will wrap up the regular season on May 5 in a doubleheader in Malta against Kankakee Community College before hosting Regionals on May 10-13.
