Kougars baseball earn two more victories against Olive Harvey

March 19, 2018 - the Kishwaukee baseball team picked up two more wins against Region IV opponent Olive Harvey College on Monday winning game one 10-2 and the second game 10-4.  David Villafane (two RBI) and Tavaris Terrell each had two hits and Dylan Smith drove in a pair of RBI in game one to lead the Kougars offense.  Johnathan Hook (three and a third innings four strikeouts), Joey Locascio (two innings pitched) and Jarod Montavon (two strikeouts) teamed up for the one hit victory on the mound for Kish.

Game two was paced by Dylan Smith's three hits, Matthew Morgan two hits, as well as, David Villafane contributing three RBI and Tommy Hansen 2 RBI.  John Stathopulos (five innings, two strikeouts) kept the Olive Harvey Panthers to only three hits in the game for the win.

On Sunday, March 18 Kishwaukee split a doubleheader with nationally ranked #15 Kankakee Community College winning game one in a nailbiter 5-4 before dropping the nightcap.

The Kougars travel to Joliet Junior College Tuesday (weather permitting) for a doubleheader beginning at 2:00 pm before returning to campus for a home date with Madison College on Thursday starting at 2:00 pm.
