Kishwaukee Baseball wraps up southern trip with 13-3 victory

March 14, 2018 - The Kishwaukee Kougars baseball team completed the southern trip to Florida with a convincing 13-3 win over Rowan College at Burlington County.  After Rowan plated three runs in the top of the third, the Kougars responded with six of their own in the bottom of the inning and scored runs in each of the remanining frames with an eleven hit attack.  Alex Soto (2 RBI) led Kish with three hits and Dylan Smith and Tavaris Terrell each had a pair of hits as well.  David Villafane topped the RBI category for Kishwaukee with three.  Matt Almeida (3 innings) and Jake Perkins (2 innings) helped pace the Kougar pitching staff in the game.  The Kougars are now 9-5 overall on the season after going 6-3 on the southern trip.

Kish will play two games against Olive Harvey College (weather permitting) this Saturday, March 17 in Malta starting at 12:00 pm.
