Johnson Signs to Missouri School

Jared Johnson (DeKalb High School) has signed his national letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Central Methodist University, in Fayette, Missouri.

Johnson hit .381 on the year with 16 doubles and 5 home runs, while driving in 43 runs for the Kougars. He also finished the year with 22 stolen bases. Johnson helped lead Kishwaukee to their first Arrowhead Conference Championship since 2003.

Lastly, Johnson was honored as a Division 1 All-Region IV selection along with Arrowhead Conference All-Conference Team and earned the Arrowhead Academic All-Conference Award. 

Central Methodist is an NAIA institution that plays in the Heart of America Conference. They finished 44-17 on the year and reached the NAIA College World Series.
