Triton pulls away late for 10-3 victory over Kishwaukee College

While Kishwaukee College hung tough on Wednesday, Triton pulled away late for the 10-3 victory at River Grove, IL.

Colby Green, DeJohn Suber, Joe Dahlke and James Battley combined for five hits and four RBIs.

The top of the first saw Kishwaukee College take an early lead, 1-0. Kishwaukee College's threat began with a single by Jared Johnson followed by a groundout by Cooper Vinz that moved Johnson from first to second and to finish, Matt Albert singled, scoring Johnson.

Kishwaukee College got one-run rallies in the second inning and the fifth. In the second, Kishwaukee College scored on a sacrifice fly by Johnson, plating Aneudy DeLacruz.

Triton built upon its lead with six runs in the seventh. The inning got off to a hot start when Ryan Leo singled, plating Justin Gorr and Trayvon Johnson.
