Kougar Baseball Gets Two Wins

Kishwaukee College didn't provide Chris Suarez with much support, but he didn't need much. Suarez pitched seven strong innings to carry Kishwaukee College to a 2-1 win over Madison College in eight innings on Tuesday.

Cooper Vinz boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 4-4 day at the plate to pace Kishwaukee College. He singled in the first, fourth, fifth, and eighth innings.

The first inning saw Madison College score its only run on the day on an RBI double by Ty Jandrowski.

Monday was a great day for Jared Johnson, as he clubbed two home runs to carry Kishwaukee College to an 8-5 victory over Madison College at Madison, WI.

Johnson helped Kishwaukee College take the lead for good in the ninth inning. After Juan Casanova doubled, Johnson homered, plating Casanova and David Salgueiro.

Chris Rodriguez baffled Madison College, striking out seven batters. Kishwaukee College's pitcher gave up just six hits over five shutout innings.

Kishwaukee College was sparked by Austin Allende and Johnson, who teamed up for five hits and five RBIs.
